The service

Oclavex provides software licensing and entitlement management: product and feature catalogs, plans and entitlements, license activation, usage metering with quotas and credits, analytics, and the administration portals, APIs, and client libraries that go with them.

Your account

You are provisioned your own environment and administer your own users and roles. You are responsible for activity carried out under your account and for keeping your credentials — including API secrets and license keys — confidential.

Evaluation

Onboarding and product evaluation are free of charge, and no payment method is required at this stage. Paid plans, included capacities, and fees are set out separately if and when you choose to subscribe.

Acceptable use

Please do not attempt to access another organization's data; do not probe, disable, or circumvent security controls or usage limits except as intended for your own products; and do not use the service to process data you have no right to process.

Your content and our intellectual property

You keep all rights to the data and content you bring into Oclavex. The service software, documentation, and client libraries remain the property of Revenusion and are licensed to you for use with Oclavex.

Availability and changes

We operate the service with reasonable skill and care and announce planned maintenance in advance where practicable. We may update these terms and will give reasonable notice of material changes; the full, current terms always govern.

Controller and processor

For your end users' personal data, you are the controller and Oclavex acts as your processor: you decide what is collected and why, and we process it on your instructions to run licensing, metering, and analytics.

What we collect

The account and contact details you provide when you sign up — such as your administrator email and organization name — together with the operational data generated as you use the service.

How we use it

To provide and secure the service, to communicate with you about your account, and to improve the product. We do not sell your personal data.

Data processing agreement

A Data Processing Agreement governs the categories of data processed, the purposes, the security measures, and how data-subject requests are handled. It is available from [email protected] and is signed alongside your commercial agreement.

Retention and your rights

Data is retained for as long as it is needed to provide the service. You can export your data and request its deletion, and data-subject requests are handled through your account administrator.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored in the region of the Oclavex deployment you are provisioned into. If you have a specific residency requirement, raise it during onboarding so you are placed in an appropriate deployment.
